Stepping up to take responsibility, a young man helps his family

[Anonymous Personal Story]

I am living in India. I am 20 years old. I am the elder of my family with two brothers. So, i have the responsibilities to take care my house. In the last 4 years i had many experiences with my families that i took care.

In september 27th before the couple of weeks i had a heart breaking experience with my Grandfather. Already he had a Blood pressure and sugar problems and also he was very sick on that day. After We finished our dinner we slept in the night. In the mid-night there was a big sound I heard, suddenly we got up. Really I did not get up. My mother only called me because I have so tired on the day of my works in my company.

So, I went to my grandfather, he is shouting and shouting, His one hand in the heart and he saw me and said something to of then i go near to him. He told to save him. After I heard that word am crying. At first I thought he has a high pressure but really he had a heart pain. I can understand his pains. My father also not there with us. Because He went to other state for his Ministries. Really i did not expect that on the day.

So, I called my father to ask what I do. But my father's mobile is switched off. Suddenly, i got an idea. I called to 108. This is the free service of our country to call ambulance. Then, I called them, within just a minutes they come to our home and gave the First Aid in the ambulance. Then we took him to a Hospital. My mother and my brother are crying. Then the Doctor came he checked and gave the treatment. After, he come to me and said take him and go to the city and he mentioned the hospital. Because he knows the problems of my Grand Father.

Then he told to us, he is in the last minutes. Then I called a car and take him to another hospital. My Grand father is crying aloud for the pain that he had. On the time my mother also had a fever for the reason of my Grand father. Then we went quickly and admit my Grand Father. And also i take my Mother into another room. There is a another doctor. So, I admit my mother also.

Now really I got the all pains. I don't know what can I do. It is a famous hospital and rich one in the city. After that, we stopped our crying and went to a room and we prayed to God. Then i went to my mother sit sometimes and go near to my grand father and sat in the bed wit him in the full night. I told to my brother to care our mother. Am sitting and sleeping like hen near by the bed.

In the Next Morning the Doctor said to us, he got the normal stage but he did not speak anything. So, we thank God. And the second day my grand father spoke to us. We really happy, am so happy because in my inner heart said you win, you win. I am really proud of myself. God helps me. And I took money from my father's ATM. So, next noon I finished all payable things. I saved my Grand father's life within 50,000 Rupees.

Then i called my friend with his car, he came there. We came to our house. Doctor gave some medicines for my mother and grand father. So, i take care till now. Weekly once i called the nurse to check my Grand father's pressure and managing the medication. And i give the nutrition, good foods and fruits to my mother and Grand father. Now my Grand Father is with us. He is so happy now and he live by the Grace of God and the advice of the Doctor. He is Good now.

After all my father said to me, you did really well.
